Borciani e Bonazzi 12 Series Flat Comb

This flat comb brush features gold synthetic fiber, a short handle crafted from red earth lacquered wood with a gold tip, and a nickel-plated brass ferrule. The soft and flexible gold fibers make it the perfect choice for oil and acrylic painting, basic watercolour techniques, gouache, and other methods that do not require thick strokes. The compact handle allows for precise handling in small and detailed tasks.

Series 12 is used instead of ox hair, offering the same characteristics of lightness and elasticity, with an excellent retention of the shape of the tip as well as a medium water absorbency with natural release. The brushstroke is soft and the lines well manageable even by beginners. Thanks to the characteristic comb-like shape, the fibre emerges flat and full from the ferrule before thinning out to taper at the tip, being highly popular for decorations and hobby techniques in general.

The handle is traditional and light. The handle is lacquered to protect the wood from deformations due to extensive immersion in water or solvents. Highly manageable, it is classic and elegant.
