Custom Stretcher Frame — Cut to Your Size

Need a frame without canvas? Our bare stretcher frames are built to your exact dimensions in our Alexandria workshop. Perfect for artists who stretch their own canvas or need a replacement frame.

What's Included

  • Stretcher bars: Kiln-dried hoop pine or warp-proof aluminium
  • Bracing: Automatic centre, cross, or H-bracing based on frame size
  • Wedge keys: Included for tension adjustment
  • Assembly: Mitred corners (pine) or corner-plated (aluminium), ready to use

Available Sizes

Any dimension from 12" to 96" (30cm to 244cm). Hoop pine in stocked lengths; aluminium cut to order per 0.5cm.

Frame Materials

  • Hoop Pine 32mm: Australian kiln-dried timber, mitred corners — our standard deeper profile for extra rigidity
  • Aluminium 22mm / 32mm / 40mm: Lightweight, warp-proof with green anodised corner plates — ideal for large or travelling works

Made in Sydney. Each frame is cut and assembled to order in our Alexandria workshop. Typical turnaround: 2–4 business days.

Shipping

As this is a customised item, standard local Sydney delivery fees will apply. However, you will be contacted for a specific shipping quote depending on the size the custom product is.

We do not deliver to PO Boxes.

Orders for Bulky, Custom or Dangerous Goods to PO Box addresses is not accepted due to Government regulations.

Pre-Ordered item

Please note that pre-ordered items may take up to 2 weeks to be delivered to you, in the worst case scenario. If the item is being imported from another country outside of Australia, the delivery time may be extended to 3-4 weeks.
