IL DOPPIO TRAVEL BRUSH #2 is the travel brush with a double head and two resealable capsules, the perfect solution for artists who want to always carry a versatile, precise, practical and functional tool with them when travelling and during painting sessions en plein air or outside the studio. On one side, a sword brush in Hidro® synthetic fibre, size 4, nickel-plated brass ferrule:
- it is featured by high absorbency and softness;
- it allows a slow, gradual and homogeneous release of water;
The sword tip allows you to draw thin lines typical of the urban and metropolitan landscape (outlines of buildings, electrical wires, architectural details, etc.) with a on-tip use, and at the same time it allows to create small and medium colour fields, with under pressure use, for colour areas typical of the formats most loved by urban sketchers such as carnet de voyage, sketchnotes, A5 formats.
On the other side flat brush in synthetic Kolinsky sable MKS® size 6, nickel-plated brass ferrule:
- the fibre allows performance equivalent and superior to the natural Kolinsky sable hair;
- it guarantees a perfect hold and compactness of the tip;
The flat tip gives a controlled and precise stroke, it is able to faithfully and quickly recreate the graphic textures and patterns typical of the urban landscape, such as architectural details like bricks, tiles, roof tiles; varying the on-tip and under pressure use, it allows you to play with the colour tones giving depth, thickness and atmosphere to the monuments and city views loved by urban sketchers. Also perfect for close-up and precision details. The average less slow release of water and colour, allows you to modulate the intensity and tones of the desired colour. The flat tip is ideal for hatching and to slightly dilute strokes made in watercolour pencil.
